"Brooklyn POP" Born Yasine Washington in Brooklyn, NY with his mother "LILLIE MAE ROBERSON" older siste TIFFANY and two brothers ERIC AN TRAVIS... With a mother who fought to give him a life that would survive him till he became a man he grew to that point at an early age... "POP" moved from Crown Heights at the age of 6 with his family, whom he charish..
As a young child he watched his mother go through many of struggles with drug's and alcohol abuse,
As a teenager learning every song and style of music he bacame a young liaison for good music...
"POP" attended Richmond Hill High School in Queenz NY where he and his little brother and mother would live... As his mother struggled with the everyday life as a single mother, she begun to fall which will spun "POP" into a world of trouble...
Yasine resided with his grandparents in SOUTH SIDE JAMAICA QUEENZ as his mother was on the path to get her life on THE right track.. He begun building his realatiinship with his father, which never went well yet he builded a bond with his grandparents especially his grandfather... but trouble had its way of being his friend.. he developed a strong realationship with his young cousin. "Mann" who became "POP" right hand and bestfriend, and althought they didnt see eye to eye all the time, one without the other was never seen... As time grew on there realationship grew distant as "POP" begun to discover his talent for writing In the year of 2002. at this point he met a friend who shared the same intrest in music as they became a team and would later discover a family called "DUBLEDGE Productionz..."
with his new found life he begun to master the craft of becomeing a lyricses. With his team behind his back he and his partner begun to break through the streets of NYC... he and his team would become local artist where they would do shows at popular clubs and local open mics, POP AND DUBLEDGE drop "da underground up" mixtapes which created a nice buzz for themselves... Landing them on the "Roc da mic tour" with rap star's like JAYZ, 50 CENT BEANIE SEGAL.
POP started working on his solo mixtape "LOYALTY IS A MUST VOL.1" yet tragedy would hit "POP" heart.. in december of 2002 POP grandfather Charlie Roberson Jr. was reported missing for several days. As his family pulled together in prayer The late Charlie Roberson Jr. was found dead in his car a week later ....Although NY was a great place to Push his talent, Stress and Money and the death of his grandfather begin to slow him down...with the love he has for his family. he felt it was a time for change. he packed his life and left the place he called home and moved to Maryland an D.C. area where he started recording again now with H.A (Hood Affiliates)... He released "LOYALTY IS A MUST VOL.2" With feature's from Havoc ( mobb deep) and of course his H.A. family. "POP" is currently working on a couple of projects for 2013 with his brother's Bigg Hood/ Antgang Trav/ Neek/ STAY TUNE IT A H.A. THING!!!!!
